A CGI Commitment to Put Young People at the Table
Through our Clinton Global Initiative Commitment to Action, #HalfTheStory is advancing a five-year effort to reach 10 million people, while directly impacting more than 130,000 young people, educators, caregivers, and policymakers through deeper programs and leadership opportunities.
The commitment will expand youth councils, strengthen digital wellbeing education, and build bridges between credentialed youth leaders and the decision-makers shaping technology, policy, and culture.
Teen Tech Council: Youth Leadership in the AI Age
The Teen Tech Council is #HalfTheStory’s youth leadership initiative, designed to help young people build healthier relationships with technology and take an active role in shaping the digital world around them.
Through school and community-based programming, state youth councils, and a growing national youth leadership pipeline, the Teen Tech Council equips teens with the tools, language, and opportunities to move from awareness to action to advocacy.
As part of #HalfTheStory’s CGI Commitment to Action, the Teen Tech Council will help expand youth voices in conversations about AI, digital wellbeing, technology policy, and youth mental health, creating pathways for young people to engage with educators, caregivers, policymakers, and technology leaders. This work supports #HalfTheStory’s goal to reach 10 million people and directly impact more than 130,000 young people, educators, caregivers, and policymakers.
